The University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital Behavioral Health Unit provides culturally relevant patient education and community-based support and advocacy groups. Treatment options include inpatient, partial hospitalization, and day treatment.
One of the programs supporting needs of the unit is SWYFT (Say What You Feel, Speak What You Think). This program was created with an aim to help individuals find ways to cope, fund research, and eliminate stigmas associated with mental illnesses. SWYFT establishes a medium to promote conversations surrounding mental health as well as eliminate urges to compartmentalize thoughts and feelings.
Gifts donated to this crowdfunding page will benefit programming of the Behavioral Health Unit at University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.
